Mosque of Cordoba + Jewish Quarter Guided Tour

Let yourself be captivated by the magic of Cordoba through two historic sites: the Mosque-Cathedral and the Jewish Quarter. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, these two places will transport you to past times when Cordoba was hegemonic in the Mediterranean.

On this tour you will discover with an expert guide the three cultures that coexisted in Cordoba through the Mosque-Cathedral and the Jewish quarter. The Mosque of Cordoba is a testimony to the power and grandeur of the Caliphate of Cordoba. Its construction, begun in the 8th century, reflects the influence of Islamic culture in the Iberian Peninsula. To visit the Mosque is to immerse oneself in the history of Al-Andalus and to understand the importance of this civilization in the development of Spain.

For its part, the Jewish quarter of Cordoba is a reminder of the rich Jewish history in Spain. Its synagogues and stately homes tell of a prosperous and cultured community that lived in harmony with Muslims and Christians.
